PMA-208 directly supports Title 10 of the United States Code (USC) 2366, 2399, and 139 that require all new and improved weapons systems demonstrate their lethality, survivability, operational effectiveness, and operational suitability. To comply with this law, the Department of Defense (DoD) develops and acquires targets that can emulate, simulate and/or replicate enemy threats, and provide threat representative presentations for new and improved weapons systems in Operational Test and Evaluation events.
Holmes-Tucker provides off-site support to PMA-208 through requirements management. By Utilizing the DOORS database, the program office is able to show the relationship between program documents.
Holmes-Tucker has developed customized exports, utilizing the DOORS data, that allows engineers to collect details about how a requirement will be tested and how those requirements are related. The Verification Trace Matrix (VTM) shows overall linkage and traceability to program documentation while allowing members of the T&E community the ability to review and update how they plan to verify and validate each requirement.
